The Boat
1989 Wellington 57
The Wellington 57 is the perfect vessel for SeaKing Asylum’s mission due to its unmatched stability, safety, and spacious layout. With a reinforced bow for added strength, a shallow draft for navigating coastal waters, and hydraulic systems for ease of handling, it’s designed for both comfort and performance. Its three staterooms provide ample room for families, and its spacious deck allows for safe therapeutic activities. The Wellington 57’s ability to operate autonomously with solar power and LiFePO4 batteries further ensures cost-effective, off-grid operation—making it an ideal vessel for long-term, transformative therapeutic experiences at sea.
