Dad/Captain
Stephen Smith, founder of SeaKing Asylum, is dedicated to using therapeutic sailing to improve the lives of children with autism. He is passionate about providing transformative, healing experiences that foster emotional well-being, teamwork, and social growth.
Tracie
Mom/Admiral
Tracie is a compassionate RN with 22 years of experience, specializing in travel nursing. Her dedication to helping others extends beyond hospitals, as she supports SeaKing Asylum’s mission to bring therapeutic sailing to children with autism.
Parker
First Mate Navigator/Weatherman/Scheduler
Parker is the navigator, weatherman, and scheduler for SeaKing Asylum. His special interests in these areas make him a natural at tracking weather patterns, plotting courses, and keeping everything running on time, contributing greatly to the mission’s success. He is also the subject of the long term study for sailing and autism.
Caesar
Dog/Parker's Best Friend
Caesar is a standard poodle. He has the sweetest disposition, and literally likes to stand and give hugs. He is in charge of keeping us all in line.
